You’ll be happy to know that our people include some of Beechworth and surrounds’ finest.
Emma runs Cultivating Change
a monitoring, evaluation and learning company that works with a diverse array of organisations wanting to understand and capture their impact.
Emma hails from Stanley, where she moved with her family from Melbourne in 2023.
Emma first reached out to us when there was a power outage in Stanley and she needed a place with reliable internet to get some work done! Since then she has become a regular member and has enjoyed meeting new people through the space.
Of the opportunity to cowork in Beechworth, Emma says “it’s great to shift up the energy with a different work space and get out of the house.”
Emma enjoys heading out the back yard and into the bush for a walk or a ride. As a newbie to the region she is having fun exploring the North East. So much to see, do and eat!
Marie is an architect and runs Bush Studio Architecture
with her business partner Naomi Brennan who is located in Melbourne.
Their expertise encompasses both residential and commercial, with an emphasis on sustainability and careful design. Marie is currently working on a number of residential projects across Victoria and Tasmania, including six units in Hobart.
Marie loves being able to meet new and inspiring people from the community through the coworking space and enjoys being able to come to work in a gorgeous old building with high ceilings and big windows.
Marie moved to the region in 2020 and lives with her partner Billy and son Louis on a property at the top of Red Hill.
Sandra works for edutech company Quitch
and is also in the process of developing an interior design business.
Originally from Brazil, Sandra came to Australia in 2013 and moved to Rutherglen with her partner and family in 2022. Sandra’s son Alister has just recently started Kinder at Beechworth Montessori and having a space to work from in Beechworth has made all the difference!
After working alone at home for the last four years, she loves being able to come to an office to work alongside amazing people in an incredible building. She loves exploring the hidden gems in NE Victoria and spending time with family.

Our trusty breville barista express does the job. We have beans from Bright roastery Sixpence Coffee and cow and oat milk in the fridge. We’ve built up a nice range of cups from some op shop finds.

Often there are offerings from members, such as peaches from Maggie’s mum's farm, or cherries from Justine’s backyard, or limes from Eliza’s garden (scope for a bit of a produce swap here!), or the occasional packet of biscuits (you had me at melting moments!)

Pop your headphones in and zone out or enjoy the background music from the speaker - we’ve been enjoying listening to music from artists who’ll be featuring at the upcoming WOMAdelaide festival. Arooj Aftab is our new fave.
